Baidyanath Dham


Named after Lord Shiva, Baidyanath Dham is among the twelve Jyotirlingas in India enshrined. This is an ancient temple of Baba Baidyanath (Kamanalinga), visited by devotees in lacks, particularly on 'Mondays' in the month of `Shrawan'.




Nandan Pahar


Also referred as Nandan Hill Park, Nandan Pahar is a small hill at the edge of the town, hosting the renowned Nandi Temple. Beautifully maintained by the local administration, the hill park is an ideal example of the natural beauty of the town. On its one side, the hill has the famous Shiv Temple, and a beautiful lake on the other, attracting the visors by their elegance.



Satsang Ashram


Satsang Ashram in Deoghar is among the holiest of the holy places for the Sri Sri Thakur Anukul Chandra followers. The saint spent his last 25 years of active life at this ashram which was the center from where his man-making program was directed.
