Hundru Fall
Hundru Falls, around 28 km away from Ranchi, the fall is formed out of River Swarnarekha falling from a height of 320 feet. Visitors are allowed to take a nice bath at a lovely pool at the base of the fall. However, they are advised to take precautions while doing this. The spot is a formidable form during rainy season but it makes a mind-blowing picnic spot during rainy season.
Jonha Fall
Jonha Fall, named after the nearest village Jonha, is also referred as Gautam Dhara as it is believed that Lord Buddha bathed here. The sons of Raja Baldevdas Birla built a temple and ashram dedicated to Buddha atop the Gautam Pahar. The ashram was originally associated with Hindu devotees as well as all branches of arya dharm (Buddhists, Jains, Sikhs, Sanatani, Aryasamajis), as per proclaimed by a sign here.
Dassam Fall
Dassam Falls is formed out of River Kanchi falling from a height of about 144 feet. About 40 km away from Ranchi, the fall is located close to a village named Taimara. Dassam Falls is surrounded by the gorgeous landscape of the vicinity area called Dassam Ghagh. The tourists are suggested to be careful while bathing in the stream, in fact are warned not to bathe in the falls.
